Leaf Pickup Week

Leaves should be placed in a recyclable brown bag with the top taped shut - not stapled. Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up, even if you place the plastic bag in a recyclable bag.

• Keep leaf bags separate from your trash pickup. Please do not add trash, mud, grass clippings, mulch, animal waste, etc. with your leaves. Have bags outside by 6 a.m. on the week of pickup.

Never rake leaves into the street. The fall season is a great time to clear nearby storm drain inlets and keep them maintained to prevent drainage and flooding problems.

Leaves must be placed on the curb by 6 a.m. on the week of pickup. The Street Department visits the northside (north of Main St./US 136 and Summer Ridge, Arbor Springs, and Autumn Glen neighborhoods) and the southside (south of Main St./US 136) on alternating weeks. View the schedule below…
